My Ovation Balladeer Special

I bought this 70's guitar from my local dealer.  It started off its life as a natural spruce Balladeer.  When I got it (for a song) the front was smashed in.  This was due to it having been sat on at a gig, by a drunken, fat lady!  I had a brilliant guitar renovator (Andy Crockett) make a brand new front for it.  He used special bracing, which was a cross between the old Ovation and Spanish Guitars.  He also installed a Martin 'ThinLine' pick-up, changed the fret markings from dots to diamonds, replaced the machine heads with gold and mother-of-pearl Schallers, and fitted an Ovation Legend type sound hole surround.  My brother then installed a Martin 'Pro-Line' pre-amp, with treble, bass and volume controls.
