My Resonator Guitar.

I bought this Ozark steel guitar from The Acoustic Guitar Centre (Brighton, UK). It has a chromed brass body with gold plated resonator and hardware.  It has a rosewood neck with mother-of-pearl and abalone in-lays.  It is fitted with a 'lipstick' pick-up, which is surprisingly powerful.  Although not a square-necked model it easily lends itself to a raised string set-up.  I bought a metal nut raiser from my local music shop, and had a friend of mine make me up a replacement, raised bridge piece. (The same friend who built my first pedal steel).  The replacement bridge has the advantage of not only raising the action, but also of leveling out the strings.  (The original bridge had an arched top, designed to match the neck radius).
